Students enrolled at California Maritime Academy are eligible for a Stafford Loan from the Student Loan Network. Rising tuition at California Maritime Academy, estimated at $14,500 for the 2009-2010 school year, together with limited financial aid, has created a widening gap between the cost of college and your ability to afford it. A stafford loan fills that gap by providing the difference between school expenses and financial aid such as scholarships and grants. Our mission is to: Provide each student with a college education combining intellectual learning, applied technology, leadership development, and global awareness. Provide the highest quality licensed officers and other personnel for the merchant marine and national maritime industries. Provide continuing education opportunities for those in the transportation and related industries. Be an information and technology resource center for the transportation and related industries. We do not give athletic scholarships.
